Number of Firearms Shuffled: 6

Your Comments: Several of my fellow hunters and I have nearly identical firearms. We have now all swapped them amongst us and they have swapped as well. I do not know how others feel about this but I am strongly reminded of a very old and very true statement. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. I like others were conned once into registering our firearms. That won't be happening again. If I could do the same with my restricted firearms I would, because that file is just as useless.

Your Comments:  As gun owners and shooting enthusiasts we are constantly under threat of losing our rights. Thank you CSSA for being able to speak for me and getting the message of the firearms community out there. As individuals we have little chance to be heard, but as a group we will be heard clearly.

Your Comments: It is revolting to see that the police does not abide to the law. I thaught they were held to a greater standards than every day Canadians.

What kind of country is it ......where the police does not follow the law?

They should all be charged/prosecuted accordingly, and lose their jobs!!!!!

******

Number of Firearms Shuffled: 3

Your Comments: Bought one, Sold one, and Traded one for work on a vehicle since the registry was supposed to be gone. The registry was never accurate in the first place and is now totally useless. Plan to borrow a couple for my wife to try before purchasing one for her.

******

Number of Firearms Shuffled: 3

Your Comments: In time the number of firearms I shuffled will grow. Keep up the good fight for the lawful gun owners of Canada!

******

Number of Firearms Shuffled: 3

Your Comments: May Mr Harper follow through on the total destruction of data and the support systems used in its collection.

******

Number of Firearms Shuffled: 23

Your Comments: Comments are not suitable for polite company. The police (in all forms) are employed by the public to enforce law and maintain general order. It seems increasingly that they want to be the ones in charge. That my friends is called quite appropriately a police state and what we could still end up with in this country (in essence if not name) if we are not careful. It was once said quite aptly a long time ago "The price of freedom is eternal vigilance."

Number of Firearms Shuffled: 5

Your Comments: Never again!

******

Number of Firearms Shuffled: 6

Your Comments: My dad had six of his guns registered because he was a law abiding Canadian and respondsible gun owner. He passed away and the guns were passed on to my brother and myself. The folding of the registry couldn't have come at a better time because all 6 guns have a new address. That address is none of anyones business... especially when the registry had so many security issues.

Your Comments: Where are they now, RCMP? I'm legal. Why aren't you?

Your Comments: 11 billion dollars spent and zero crimes prevented

Maybe Alan rock should personally reimburse the Canadian people all of the money that he wasted. I believe that he promised it wouldn't cost more than 2 million.

Your Comments: RCMP should all be FIRED

******

Number of Firearms Shuffled: 2

Your Comments: The registry is ridiculous. It was ridiculous right from day 1, way back in the 90's.

I still have my cards, for the 2 guns that I don't own anymore. I guess I get to do some shredding tonight :-)

Your Comments: I do not intend on letting the firearms people know about any changes in long gun ownerships.

******

Your Comments: happy to do it if it helps the cause!

Your Comments: I lent one long gun to a friend for a while. If he likes it he may just buy it.

******

Number of Firearms Shuffled: 4

Your Comments: Personally shuffled four rifles, all to legit licensed owners. Helped other shuffle about a dozen more. Its to the point now where a lot of original owners don't know where their guns will end up. Neither will the gov, and thats the way it should be. None of these guns have ever hurt anyone.

******

Number of Firearms Shuffled: 4

Your Comments: Hi, I live in Richmond Hill, Ontario and since you proposed the shuffle, I have shuffled 4 (Four) non-restricted (Long rifle) firearms with other valid holders of PAL. Good Job!

******

Number of Firearms Shuffled: 24

Your Comments: 24 long guns shuffled thru 6 people who in turn shuffled their own guns the same way. Just try and keep score.

******

Number of Firearms Shuffled: 2

Your Comments: If the RCMP has failed to obey C-19, whoever gave the order should be charged with contempt of parliament. Since when do law enforcement agencies get to decide which laws apply to them and which don't? Enough is enough.

******

Number of Firearms Shuffled: 3

Your Comments: Traded 3 long guns with a neighbor. She in turn traded 3 with me. We are both properly licensed.

******

Number of Firearms Shuffled: 1

Your Comments: Just gave one of my shotguns to a good friend to use up north at his cottage. Good riddance to the long gun registry.

What we need to rid ourselves of now is restricted vs. prohibited handguns. Silliness that a 4-1/4" barrel is legal for a properly licensed citizen to have yet a 4" barrel is prohibited. Even sillier is that some can have them and some cannot. Even sillier that a rifle with a handgrip become restricted. And this thing about ATT's? Why not issue them for the same period as one's RPAL? And why not actually print them on the RPAL? Think of the money and effort to be saved.

We need to stop criminalizing upstanding honest citizens and start concentrating on jailing the criminals and keeping them in jail.

Guns are tools; they are not bad. What next? Knives? Forks and spoons? Automobiles? Take a look at the list of things that injure folks and find out where firearms rank. It is waaaay down the list. And better yet; when are we going to be able to protect ourselves with handguns at home and in public? Makes the criminals think twice about holding up stores and folks out for a walk. They have no clue as to who might fight back. Seems to work in the USA. Study the empirical data and not the nonsensical claims of the anti gun folks. "An armed society is a polite society".

I can remember the days when we used to take the bus to the rifle range with our Lee Enfields slung over our shoulders. Nobody was bothered. And blood did not run in the streets. In fact, the rifles were kept in a tin cabinet at the school with the ammo in another tin cabinet.

Your Comments: the RCMP should do what the government of Canada outlines for them to do by laws and legislation even if they don\'t agree with it they inforce laws not make them

******

Your Comments: No to any gun registry or government who will impose another waste of tax payer's money!
